MIAX Futures® (formerly MGEX) is a fully electronic, vertically-integrated futures exchange and clearing house established in 1881, offering access to agricultural and financial futures.
Minneapolis Hard Red Spring Wheat
The flagship contract of MIAX Futures®, Minneapolis Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW), has traded continuously since its inception in 1881. Minneapolis HRSW Futures are now traded electronically on MIAX Futures Onyx, a proprietary trading platform launched in 2025.
Vertically integrated clearinghouse with an unrestricted DCO license
Recognized by the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), MIAX Futures’ unrestricted DCO license allows us to offer margin on cleared futures positions.
