MIAX Exchange Group - Updated Connectivity Guide
The MIAX Exchange Group has updated its Connectivity Guide:
The MIAX Exchange Group has updated the connectivity guide to reflect the additional support of 1310nm ER40 (SFP-10G-ER40 - 10GBASE-ER SFP+ 1310nm 40km DOM Transceivers) optics for firm cross connects on the 10 Gb ULL networks for MIAX Options, MIAX PEARL Options, MIAX Emerald and MIAX PEARL Equities. The ER40 optics will be supported in addition to the currently implemented 10GBASE-LR optics. The 10GBASE-LR optics will be used by default, unless firms request the use of the ER40 optics.
MIAX is now accepting requests for the newly supported optics. The implementation of the ER40 optics is set to begin on September 1, 2020.
Firms electing to use such optics are asked to contact MIAX Trading Operations to submit related requests.
