MIAX PEARL - Update to the PEARL Liquidity Feed (PLF) Interface Specification - Mandatory Change

The MIAX PEARL Exchange has just published an updated Interface Specification for the PEARL Liquidity Feed (PLF).

PEARL Liquidity Feed (PLF) v1.1 to Improve Bandwidth Utilization (Required Change):

  • Order Message - this message will not be used for disseminating Close state of an order. A new Order Close message has been introduced for dissemination of order close state.
  • Order Close Message - this new message will be used to disseminate Order Close state for PEARL Options Orders. An Order Close message will be disseminated for a fill or a cancel.
PLF consumers will be required to make the necessary changes.
  
Important Dates
  • This change will be available in PEARL Firm Test Bed 2 (FTB2) on July 2, 2018.
  • The production rollout is scheduled for the end of August, 2018. The specific date will be announced in a future alert.
The updated PLF specifications are currently available for review at  MIAX Options Interface Specifications.
