MIAX Pearl Equities - Post Mortem for Abnormal Latency in Publication Path to the UTP SIP
As previously announced in the 9:28 a.m. Alert, MIAX Pearl Equities investigated and resolved abnormal latency in the publication path to the UTP SIP between 4:00 a.m. and 9:03 a.m. ET. A UTP SIP software maintenance job was completed after MIAX Pearl Equities connected which forced a disconnect. After unsuccessfully trying to reestablish connectivity to the UTP SIP LDC (Local Data Center), MIAX connected to the RDC (Remote Data Center). At 9:03 a.m. ET, MIAX forced connectivity back to the UTP SIP LDC.
There was no misconfiguration on MIAX Pearl Equities. Market Data was published to both UTP SIP and direct market feeds without delay.
MIAX Pearl Equities has taken further steps to monitor UTP SIP connectivity to ensure we are connected to the optimal path.
