U.S. Options

On Friday, September 25, 2026, the MIAX Options, MIAX Pearl Options, MIAX Emerald Options and MIAX Sapphire Options Exchanges will refresh customer facing CH4 (Disaster Recovery) extranet edge switches after the close of trading from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. ET.

All of MIAX Options Exchanges CH4 extranet edge switches will be replaced one-to-one with an updated model and all firm Cross Connects (CCs) will be moved to the same ports on the new switches. There are no changes required by firms for this hardware upgrade.

Following the upgrade, firms are required to verify all MIAX Options, Pearl Options, Emerald Options and Sapphire Options Exchanges cross connects, market data feeds and application logins.

Please note: This testing is scheduled to coincide with the 2026 SIFMA pre-testing date to minimize operational disruptions.
 
Details on testing and verifications:

1. Testing will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon ET.
2. Firms are required to perform the following verifications:
   1. Verify light levels and IP routing.
   2. Verify all 10G ULL and 1G LL CCs by logging into each subscribed application for each CC (i.e. establish application-level socket connections to MEI, MEO, FOI, CTD, etc., for all ports, across all CCs) and verify the login.
   3. Confirm heartbeat receipt for both the A & B market data feeds for all subscribed multicast feeds across each CC.
   4. After verifying connectivity, firms must email MIAX Trading Operations at TradingOperations@miaxglobal.com.
