MIAX Futures Exchange - Onyx Trading Platform - Financial Futures - Reminder for May 9, 2026 Mock Trading Test

As previously announced in the February 3, 2026 and April 29, 2026 Alerts, MIAX Futures will conduct a mock trading session on Saturday, May 9, 2026 in preparation for the upcoming launch of Financial Futures on Sunday, May 17, 2026 (Trade Date: May 18, 2026).

Once production sessions have been requested and completed, firms may also request to conduct application layer connectivity testing or telnet connectivity testing prior to May 9, 2026 by contacting MIAXfuturestradingoperations@MIAXGlobal.com.

Please note, any firms testing through an ISV should confirm proper symbology with their respective ISV prior to testing.
 
Test Day Timeline (ET):

  • 08:30 a.m. – Pre-opening connectivity windows open
  • 08:45 a.m. – Live Order Window (LOW) First Pre-opening
  • 09:30 a.m. – Extended 1 Trading Session
  • 10:30 a.m. – Regular Trading Session
  • 12:00 p.m. – Extended 2 Trading Session
    • Disseminate Settlement Prices prior to end of Extended 2 Trading Session
  • 1:00 p.m. – Closing and Live Order Window (LOW) Closes
  • 1:05 p.m. – System Shutdown (Start of Recycle Window)
Test Day Details:
  1. Trade Date will be Saturday, May 9, 2026
  2. All three products will be available for testing from Cloud 1:
    1. TBQ (Tini B100 Index Futures)
    2. TBX (Tini B500 Index Futures)
    3. BX (B500 Index Futures)
  3. MIAX Futures industry mock trading testing instruments available upon request
  4. MIAX Futures industry mock trading sessions will support the following activity utilizing assigned production network connections:
    1. Open firm participation via each of MIAX Futures technical interfaces:
      1. Futures Express Interface (FEI)
      2. FIX Order Interface (FOI) for FIX orders
      3. FIX Drop Copy (FXD)
    2. MIAX Futures Market Data Dissemination via each of the MIAX proprietary data feeds:
      1. Top of Market Data (ToM) Feed
      2. Depth of Market Data (DoM) Feed
    3. Firms interested in receiving test data from OCC generated from the Industry Test windows will need to register with OCC one week prior to participation to ensure connectivity and data service setup. OCC will be supporting testing in OCC’s External Test 3 environment for each Industry window. Trades input to MIAX Futures Onyx during the weekend test windows will be played into OCC's External Test 3 environment on each following Monday and will be available for registered entities. To register with OCC for participation, please complete the test request form at www.theocc.com/webapps/cert-test-services and indicate your request relates to MIAX Futures Onyx Industry Testing dates.
Testing Suggestions:
  1. Send FIX and/or FEI Order
    1. Simple and/or Complex
    2. STOP Market, STOP Limit, Market, GTD, Market with Protection, STOP Market with Protection
  2. Cancel FIX and/or FEI Order
    1. Simple and/or Complex
  3. Cancel Replace FIX and/or FEI Order
    1. Simple and/or Complex
  4. Send Mass Cancel Request – this requires Firms to have MFP Access, for industry test #1 we will not have firms able to access this action via MFP
  5. Send Complex Strategy Creation Request
  6. Receive Execution
    1. Simple and/or Complex
  7. Participants who plan to Validate Bust and Correction of a Trade via the FIX Drop Copy (FXD) must Coordinate with Trading Operations
  8. Market Data Subscribers
    1. Validate Instrument Definition
    2. Validate Market Data is being received
    3. Validate Retransmission Services
