Originally announced in the February 13, 2026 Alert, the upgrade of the MIAX Emerald Options 10G ULL extranet switches and increase of the number of available customer-facing edge switches from six to ten has been rescheduled to Friday, November 6, 2026 (previously June 12, 2026) post close of trading. Existing 10G ULL extranet switches are approaching vendor end of support and require replacement.

Existing firm cross connects will be migrated by MIAX on the cutover date to the six upgraded switches. For the four additional extranet edge switches, if firms want cross-connect (CC) activation to coincide with the upgrade, they must submit LOAs at least four weeks prior to the Friday, November 6, 2026 cutover date.

Following the upgrade, firms must conduct mandatory testing:

1. Mandatory testing will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET.
2. Firms are required to perform the following verifications:
   1. Verify all 10G ULL CCs by logging into each subscribed application for each CC (i.e. establish application-level socket connections to MEO, MEI, FOI, CTD, etc., for all ports, across all CCs) and verify the login.
   2. Verify A/B feed heartbeats for all subscribed multicast feeds on each CC.
   3. After verifying connectivity, firms must send an email to TradingOperations@miaxglobal.com and receive confirmation testing was completed successfully.
