MIAX Futures Exchange - Onyx Trading Platform and Clearing System - FIA Disaster Recovery Test

MIAX Futures Exchange will participate in the industry-wide Futures Industry Association (“FIA”) sponsored Disaster Recovery (“DR”) pre-test on Saturday, September 27, 2025 and test on Saturday, October 25, 2025. U.S. Futures Exchanges, Clearing Houses, Futures Commission Merchants, back-office providers, and data vendors will test connectivity and functionality between DR sites. 

Participation in this pre-test and test is mandatory for all Clearing Members. Please confirm your participation in the pre-testing session by Monday September 15, 2025. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

  1.  Pre-Test on Saturday, September 27, 2025:
    1. Onyx Trading Platform: 
      1. MIAX Futures DR connections will be made available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CDT. Firms, data vendors, and clearing members may test connections to the Onyx trading platform during that time.
    2. MIAX Futures Clearing:
      1. To test connectivity, all Clearing Members must connect and download any previous TRX file from the MIAX Futures DR SFTP detailed below, using the same production credentials anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. CDT. 
      2. MIAX Futures SFTP will be failed over during testing to the Production IP Address 2 listed in your SFTP request form. You may test this connection at any time leading up to the test as it is always available.
    3. Required Responses and Contact Information:
      Please contact MIAX Future Clearing at (612) 321-7146 or MIAXFuturesClearingOperations@miaxglobal.com by Monday, September 15, 2025, to confirm your participation in the pre-testing or if you have any questions concerning the test or participation.
      1. Please include a contact name, email and phone number for the pre-test.
      2. Once testing is completed, send an email to MIAXFuturesClearingOperations@miaxglobal.com noting if testing was successful or details of any issues.
  2. Test on Saturday, October 25, 2025:
    1. A future Alert with test day details will be published.
