MIAX Emerald Options Exchange - Technology Refresh of Matching Engine, FOI, CTD, and Market Data Retransmission Servers in NY4

MIAX Emerald Options is performing a technology upgrade of the trading platform servers in NY4. The upgrades being performed will result in enhanced system performance.
 
This upgrade requires no changes by member firms. Member firms' connectivity, functionality and interfaces will not be impacted or require any updates.
 
The technology refresh will be performed in phases. For each phase, the cut-over work supporting the technology refresh will be performed on Friday evening between 6:00 p.m. ET and 10:00 p.m. ET and connectivity testing will be available the following Saturday for each phase.
 
The technology upgrade will be executed in three phases: 

  1. Phase One - Internal service systems and Market Data Retransmission systems will be upgraded in September. 
  2. Phase Two - Matching Engine, Quoting services, Market Data feeds, FIX gateway and CTD systems will be upgraded in September/October.
  3. Phase Three – Away market Ticker Plant servers will be upgraded in November/December.
Connectivity testing prior to production activation will be available on the following dates. Firms are strongly encouraged to participate:
  1. Saturday, September 20, 2025 Test Day Timeline (ET): 
    1. 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2. Cloud: 11 - Primary Matching Engine, Quoting Services and Market Data feeds; Primary FIX and CTD sessions
  2. Saturday, September 27, 2025 Test Day Timeline (ET): 
    1. 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2. Clouds: 1-6 - Primary Matching Engine, Quoting Services and Market Data feeds; Primary FIX and CTD sessions
  3. Saturday, October 4, 2025 Test Day Timeline (ET): 
    1. 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2. Clouds: 7-10 and 12 - Primary Matching Engines, Quoting Services and Market Data feeds
  4. Saturday, October 11, 2025 Test Day Timeline (ET): 
    1. 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2. Clouds: 1-6 - Secondary Matching Engines, Quoting Services and Market Data feeds, all Secondary FIX and CTD sessions
  5. Saturday, October 18, 2025 Test Day Timeline (ET): 
    1. 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2. Clouds: 7-12 - Secondary Matching Engines, Quoting Services and Market Data feeds
