MIAX Emerald Options Rebalancing of the symbol distribution across Trade Matching Environments (Clouds) effective for Trading on April 14, 2025

The MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will rebalance the symbol distribution across the Trade Match Environments (Clouds) effective for trading on Monday, April 14, 2025.  

Summary of the Change:

  • Market Data Feed contents will be sourced based on the new symbol distribution
  • MIAX Express Interface (MEI) customers will need to direct interface traffic in accordance with the new symbol distribution
  • FIX Order Interface (FOI), Clearing Trade Drop (CTD) and FIX Drop Copy (FXD) customers are not impacted
The new MIAX Emerald Options symbol distribution will be as follows:
  1. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 1:      A-AZZZZZ
  2. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 2:      B-CZZZZZ   
  3. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 3:      D-GZZZZZ
  4. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 4:      H-LZZZZZ
  5. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 5:      M-MZZZZZ
  6. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 6:      N-NZZZZZ
  7. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 7:      O-QZZZZZ
  8. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 8:      R-SZZZZZ  (excluding SPY)
  9. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 9:      T-TZZZZZ
  10. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 10:    U-YZZZZZ
  11. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 11:    Z-ZZZZZZ
  12. Trade Match Environment (cloud) 12:    SPY
 
The MIAX Emerald Exchange system will be available for self-verification with the new symbol distribution on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Firms are encouraged to send an email to TradingOperations@miaxglobal.com once they complete verification. Additional support will be available between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
