As previously announced in the April 12, 2023 and May 23, 2023 Alerts, MIAX Pearl Equities (EPRL) has published updated MIAX Express Order (MEO) Interface and FIX Order Interface (FOI/FXD) specifications to support new and enhanced Risk Protections.
 
These protections are optional and will be available starting on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
 
Although implementing the new risk protections is optional, the upgrade to the new MEO Version 2.4 is mandatory in order to support new messaging protocols.

• Firms will have until the evening of Monday, July 31, 2023 to upgrade to MEO Version 2.4.
  • Certification is required prior to upgrade; certification must be completed by Friday, June 30, 2023.
• Older versions of MEO will not be supported beginning Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

The new and enhanced features in this release are currently available for testing in the EPRL Firm Test Bed (FTB2).
