MIAX Pearl Equities (EPRL) has published an updated FIX Interface Specification to support an upcoming enhancement for the FIX Drop.
 
Enhancement Details:                                                                                                                                                                     

• Members, including those with multiple order entry sessions, may opt into a new feature that will prompt the FIX Drop to identify the order entry session through which the order/message was entered.
  • This feature will be available for both Standard FIX Drops and Order by Order Drops.

Corresponding Specification Updates:

• FIX Interface Specification (FOI) – Version 2.3a
  • Added two new fields: (1) “OrigSession” (tag# 9687) and (2) OrigCompID (tag# 9688) on the Execution Report, Order Cancel Reject and Trade Cancel/Correct messages to send the order entry session details on the FIX Drop.

Important Dates:

• The FIX Drop Enhancement feature:
  • Will be available in the MIAX Pearl Equities Firm Test Bed (FTB2) on Friday, June 16, 2023.
  • Is targeted to be available in Production in Summer 2023. The production rollout date will be announced in a future alert.
